List of Supplies needed:
- 2 old t-shirts that you don't mind giving up
- 2 to 4 large rolls of duct tape, be sure and get the cheap stuff, it bends better sround curves. It's fun to cover your last layer with a colored tape, but not essential.
- Permanent marking pen
- scissors, curved bandage type, but not mandatory.
- long wooden ruler, at least 36"
- a piece of 2" PVC the height of the person you are body doubling.
- foam padded poster board or stiff cardboard for bottom of body double
- a pair of foam raglan shoulder pads, or a pair of foam bra inserts (like you use for bathing suits)
- 6 to 8, 20 oz bags of poly fill, more or less, you may decide to use old plastic grocery bags.
- a piece of 4" PVC approx 3-3.5' long for stand
- 2" cap for top of PVC pole
- 4 way PVC for center to hold shoulders, neck piece and center pole.
- 4 1/4"x3/4" pan head wood screws
- (1) toilet bowl flange made from PVC (I know what you are thinking, but it works great!)
- a piece of board, I used a 12"x12" scrape from the lumber yard
- a friend or two to wrap you
Preparing your shirt
- cut off one sleeve and the bottom portion of one of the t-shirts, discard the rest.
- sew the bottom of the whole t-shirt to the cut portion of the other t-shirt (see fig 2)
- sew the cut off sleeve to the neck of your whole t-shirt, you need this for protection of your neck when you wrap (see fig 2)
